Scotfact was launched by Rab Boyce in May 2017. The site was produced to collate the various sources of statistics and data regarding Scotland's economy into a single easy to use source. The aim is to help those without the time, skills or knowledge to easily find and cross-check information that is often used in political debates. All data presented is referenced so you can easily dig deeper into the source material if you want to know more.
Since that initial vision, we have started to produce some articles, exploring some of the recurring topics, as well as a set of interactive tools.
While every effort is taken to ensure the data is accurate and fully referenced, please get in touch if there are any errors or typos and we will correct them as soon as possible. Scotfact is not affiliated with any campaign group or political party and is fully funded by Rab.
